  • What is natural attar? Are your Attar 100% natural?
    Natural Attar is made with 100% natural ingredients or essential oil. Natural Attar not include animal extracts such as ambergris, beeswax, honey etc,, natural perfume will not include extracts from animals that are derived by harming an animal. Alaindair Attar are 100% natural in a essential Oil base. We never use ambergris or any other animal extracts. Yes, our attar are 100% natural. We don't use anything synthetic in our attar. Our products are also all vegan-friendly, with no animal ingredients used, and no testing on animals
  • Are your Attar Vegan?
    Yes, all of our products are vegan and cruelty-free.
  • Do you use synthetic musk?
    Definitely not. The only musks we use are ambrette seed (from a type of hibiscus flower), as well as a combination of other essential oils and extracts.
  • If it's natural, does that mean i won't have a reaction to your attar?"
    Natural ingredients can be potent and active (which is why natural medicine is so effective) so just like some people react to certain plants, some people may also react to natural Attars. It’s not very common with our fragrances but it can happen. If you experience any itching or rash after application please stop using the product immediately. We always suggest a patch test before using any new product, whether it is natural or not, especially if you are more sensitive than average.
  • How long will One Attar last on my skin?
    That varies from person to person, and also depends on the scent. Generally, your Attar scent will noticeable for approximately 4-5 hours, but could be up to 7 hours. Keep in mind that the scent throw (sillage) and longevity of natural perfumes is not as great as synthetic fragrance because natural ingredients biodegrade (as they should) whereas synthetic ingredients don't readily break down, and may even persist in the environment for a very long time.
  • What is the shelf life of Attar?
    Some scents will disintegrate more quickly than others (especially those that re lighter and fresher), so we suggest a shelf life of 2 years. To keep your Attar at its best, please store it away from sunlight and heat.
  • Are your Attars unisex?
    Let's clear the air on this one - all perfumes are unisex. Scent is just a matter of preference, not gender. However, marketing of Attar over the years has meant that most of us think of perfumes for women being more floral and sweet, and fragrance for men being more woody, smoky or spicy. But that it simply marketing and perception. You should wear whatever fragrance makes you feel good.
  • How do I order online?
    To purchase a product on the Alaindair website, just click on the item you wish to buy, select the quantity you would like and click 'Buy Now'. This will add the item/s to your shopping bag. You can then go back and add additional items to your bag or click 'Checkout' to complete your order. Keep in mind you will need your credit card details (Visa, Mastercard or American Express), including the billing address to finalise your online order. Or, if you are using PayPal you will need your login details.
  • Why does the item in my bag now say it is unavailable?
    If you snooze you lose, especially at sale time! Alaindair products are very popular and do sell out. Unfortunately when you add items to your bag it doesn't mean the item is reserved. The items will be available for anyone to purchase until you have checked out and paid for it. If you receive an error stating you cannot checkout due to an item being unavailable, you will need to remove this item from your bag so you can complete your order. Please feel free to Contact Us for support if needed.
  • Can I change/cancel my order?
    You can change your order while you are still browsing and shopping. You will need to go to 'My Bag'. Here you can delete a product by clicking on the 'X' next to the 'Qty' field, or change the quantity by simply adding in the new quantity and clicking 'Update'. We want to get your order out to you as soon as possible, so once you have clicked the 'Process Order' button and your order has been confirmed it has already been sent to our warehouse to be picked and packed. It's not possible change or cancel your order once payment is processed online.
  • What do I do if the item I am looking for says it has 'Sold Out'?
    Alaindair's best selling products do sell out quickly. If you've seen something you've got to have, then we suggest you order it straight away. However, if the item you are after is out of stock, you can contact us at alaindairattar@gmail.com and we will try and locate it for you.
  • How secure is my credit card and personal information?
    Your security while shopping online with Alaindair is really important to us, and we've taken all reasonable measures to make sure your credit card and personal details are kept safe at all times. All pages that require you to enter your personal information or payment details on our site are secure, using SSL encryption. To check that the page you are viewing is secure, look for a padlock icon at the bottom right hand corner of your screen.
  • Can I see my past orders?
    Yes, just Login to the website using your emails address and password and on the 'My Account' page you can review your recent orders
  • How do I let you know if my details have changed?
    Just Login to the website using your email address and password and on the 'My Account' page choose the 'Update my details' button. Make sure you save any changes you make.
  • What is Alaindair's policy on returns and exchange?
    When goods are faulty, damaged, wrongly described or differ greatly from the sample shown on this website - you may contact us to discuss and we will work with you to organise a replacement or a refund. You must contact Alaindair within 2 days of receiving your order. We will not pay the postage and packaging charges associated with this return. Please note where goods have been received damaged or broken in the mail - a photo of the damaged items must be supplied to support the claim application. Alaindair will no longer accept the return of any perfume due to changing your mind about a purchase under any circumstances. This includes reasons such as selecting the wrong item when purchasing from our website, no longer needing the item or another person has bought the same product for me. Please refer to the Returns and Exchanges page on our website for further information.
  • Which countries does Alaindair ship to?

  • How much does delivery cost?
    We do not charge any delivery charges for any location in India.
  • How long will it take for my order to arrive?
    Delivery times vary depending on where the Attar is being delivered. We outline approximate 5-6 working days as delivery timeframes.
  • Can I track my order?
    Yes once your order has left our warehouse you will receive an email or message with a tracking number. If your order has not arrived within the suggested timeframe, please refer to the Delivery Information section of our website or email us at alaindairattar@gmail.com
